About the Beneficiary
Proceeds from the 2025 Virtua Health Gala will benefit our Eat Well programs, a transformative initiative that embraces a ‘food as medicine’ approach to care that builds healthier, stronger communities across South Jersey.
Powered by philanthropy, Virtua’s Eat Well program aims to address critical food insecurity issues in our area and improve the health and well-being of our neighbors in need. Since 2017, Eat Well’s services have greatly expanded to meet the growing needs of those we serve, providing increased access to fresh, culturally relevant foods, along with nutrition education, social resources, health screenings, and more. Today, our team is providing more than 47,000 transactions/visits each year.
