Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm

Raising Awareness and Funds for Virtua’s NICU

When their son was born prematurely at 31 weeks, Kaitlin and Wes Johnson spent 67 days visiting their sweet son, “Little Wes,” in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Virtua Voorhees Hospital. Following this life-changing time, Kaitlin and Wes knew they wanted to give back to Virtua in honor of the NICU team who cared so lovingly for their baby boy.

As Little Wes grew and thrived, the Johnsons felt even more strongly about the importance of celebrating the NICU care team. In July 2023, they hosted a festive Christmas in July event at their family farm, Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm in Jobstown. This evening of awareness and fundraising brought together NICU families, NICU care team members, and other community members for a beautiful evening.

Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm will continue this good work through future events, building awareness about premature birth and giving back to support other babies like Little Wes. The Johnsons are putting their gratitude into action and creating a lasting impact. We are grateful for their efforts, and look forward to their continued partnership!
