Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation

Supporting Hospitalized Teens

After Alicia DiNatale’s passing on October 10, 2002, her parents, Mario and Gisele, felt called to do something to honor Alicia and other courageous teens like her; by December 2002, the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation (ARVF) was created. The ARVF mission is to provide strength and support for hospitalized adolescents and to enhance the quality of life for adolescents with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

ARVF has provided more than $2.5 million in aid, supporting hospitals across the country with “Victorious 4 Teens” Teen Lounges, activities and events, Alicia’s Art Carts, teen kits and bandana pillows, and other enhancements. Countless teens and tweens have been touched in some way by ARVF, which is proud to be part of the healing while waiting for the cure.

Since 2009, the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation has supported Virtua Health with many gifts of teen kits and bandana pillows. Through generous grant funding they have also supported a Teen Lounge and Pediatric Sensory Room at Virtua Voorhees Hospital and facilitated technology enhancements at Virtua’s CASTLE program in Camden. Finally, we are proud and grateful that three Virtua locations – Virtua Voorhees Hospital, Virtua Mount Holly Hospital, and CASTLE in Camden – are each home to Alicia’s Art Cart.
