Since opening its doors in Pennsauken in 2015, Double Nickel Brewing Company has established itself as a company whose commitment to producing a high quality product is matched by its commitment to giving back. In fact, Double Nickel holds supporting the community as one of its cornerstone values, and has a special passion for helping with the fight against food insecurity.

Each year, Double Nickel collaborates with several other local brewers to produce a potluck-style hazy IPA, with proceeds supporting local non-profit organizations whose work in combatting food insecurity is making a difference in the community. The collaborative brew, called Friends Giving, has become a staple at autumn celebrations near and far.

Since 2019, funds from Friends Giving has made a big impact on Virtua’s Eat Well Food Access Program. We are grateful and proud to be a Friends Giving beneficiary!
