Ott’s Restaurants

Hitting the Links to Make a Difference for Local Families

When Michelle Wagner was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2010, she received care at Virtua Mount Holly Hospital. The outstanding treatment she received inspired Michelle and her husband Bob, partners in Ott’s Restaurants, to rally the entire Ott’s family in support of those who face a breast cancer diagnosis.

Ott’s Restaurants had already been holding a charity golf outing for years, raising funds for various worthy causes. But beginning in the fall of 2010, they focused their fundraising power on Virtua, directing the proceeds from the outing to Virtua’s Tyanna Barre O’Brien Breast Care Comfort Fund, which provides breast cancer patients with wigs, transportation to treatment, assistance with medications and more, all to bring compassionate care and comfort when patients need it most. With the help of sponsors, employees, patrons and friends, Ott’s has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to Virtua, making a tremendous difference in the lives of women and their families on their breast cancer journey.

Beginning in 2021, the Ott’s Charity Golf Outing raises awareness and support for Virtua’s new Mobile Health and Cancer Screening Unit, helping to ensure that our neighbors across South Jersey have access to life-saving screenings for cancer and chronic and communicable diseases. We are so grateful to the Ott’s Restaurants team!
