DAISY Award Nomination

Nominate a Virtua nurse for The DAISY Award today!

The DAISY Award is an international program, established in 1999 by the family of the late J. Patrick Barnes, that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary compassionate and skillful care given by nurses every day. Virtua is proud to be a DAISY Award Partner, recognizing one of our nurses with this special honor monthly.

Daisy Awards are presented monthly. DAISY Award honorees are recognized at a public ceremony in their unit and will receive: a beautiful certificate, a DAISY Award pin, and a hand-carved stone sculpture entitled “A Healer’s Touch.”

Nominations received by the 15th of the month will be considered for the following month’s DAISY Award.

Patients, visitors, nurses, physicians and employees may nominate a deserving nurse by filling out and submitting the online form below.
