We were pleased to welcome 142 golfers to the 2024 Virtua Health Golf Classic for a sunny day on the links at the prestigious Union League National Golf Club.

Thanks to our generous sponsors and participants, more than $100,000 in net proceeds will benefit scholarships for Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing students. Scholarship assistance can make a tremendous difference in a student’s life and career, helping to ensure they can focus on becoming a skilled nurse who will have a positive impact on our community.

About the Beneficiary

Proceeds from the 2024 Golf Classic supported academic scholarships for students at Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing.

Nurses play a vital role at Virtua Health, caring for patients through nearly every aspect of their health care journey. Together with our philanthropic partners, we are helping to reduce financial barriers for nursing students and address critical workforce shortages that are affecting health systems nationwide. For more than 60 years, the Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing has provided exceptional education to generations of nurses who have dedicated themselves to building healthier communities in South Jersey. Today, Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing is part of Virtua Health, and many of its graduates choose to begin their careers as nurses at Virtua. Scholarship assistance can make a tremendous difference in a student’s life and career, helping to ensure they can focus on becoming a skilled nurse who will have a positive impact on our community.
