Cooks Tour of Moorestown

A Beloved Holiday Tradition

Cooks Tour to Return in 2027

The 2026 Cooks Tour of Moorestown has been canceled due to an insufficient number of participating homes needed to create the experience our guests have come to expect. We are grateful for the community’s continued enthusiasm for this beloved holiday tradition. The Auxiliary is already planning for 2027 and will share more information next summer.

Interested in featuring your home next year?

We are already seeking local homeowners who want to showcase their beautiful, creative holiday décor, and feature their home on the 2027 Cooks Tour. If you or someone you know would like to be featured, we’d love to hear from you.

History of the Cooks Tour

The Cooks Tour was started in 1962 by the Curtis Auxiliary, an all-volunteer organization founded by a group of Moorestown women. It was named in honor of Dr. Howard M. Curtis, a pediatrician who practiced at what is now known as Virtua Mount Holly Hospital. The auxiliary began hosting fundraising events in the community, including the Cooks Tour and the once popular Curtis Ball, to support the hospital. Over the years, other auxiliaries were established throughout the local area and they joined together to form the Auxiliary Board to Virtua Memorial. Today, this board works together alongside many community businesses and volunteers to continue hosting the event and making a difference for the community.
