Joseph Lacroce Foundation

Driven to Care for Kids

The Joseph Lacroce Foundation (formerly Carz N’ Toyz) has supported Child Life at Virtua since 2012, contributing more than $55,000 over the years, including a December 2014 gift of $35,000 to create a special Family Lounge in the lobby of the Marvin Samson Foundation Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Units at Virtua Voorhees Hospital.

And every December since 2011, with a large group of volunteers, many of whom are driving classic and collector cars, Joseph Lacroce Foundation delivers a literal truckload of toys, books, bikes, games, car seats, puzzles and more to be distributed across Virtua hospitals and outpatient facilities that serve children during the holidays and throughout the year.

In December 2016, this group of caring car enthusiasts made a transformational gift to the children of Virtua, pledging $1 million to establish a Pediatric Mobile Services unit to address the health needs of local children. Launched in the spring of 2018, this program provides important developmental and health screenings, flu shots, dental screenings, lead testing, healthy homes education, and more to thousands of children and families.

Our gratitude is as large as their trucks full of toys!
