Sunshine Award Nomination

The Sunshine Award recognizes extraordinary members of the care team who provide support services at Virtua Mount Holly Hospital. Any non-nursing position may be nominated, including colleagues in transport, respiratory care, environmental services, nutrition services, patient care technicians, and more. We are pleased to celebrate these essential members of our care team, who help to provide compassionate care and brighten the days of our patients and their families.

Sunshine Award Criteria

• Having a kind and positive attitude that helps brighten the care environment for patients, families and colleagues.
• Working as an essential part of the team to provide excellent care.
• Always going above and beyond to help.
• Demonstrating outstanding communication and decision-making skills.
• Serving as a positive role model.
• Creating exceptional experiences for others.

Sunshine Awards are presented quarterly. Honorees are recognized at a small ceremony and will receive flowers, a snack, a pin and a Sunshine Award certificate acknowledging their outstanding service to our patients and our community.
